The primary aim of the Marketing Summer Camp is to stimulate discussion on areas of complementary research, with the possibility of future collaboration. We believe that such intensive and research-oriented face-to-face discussions are critical to discovering areas of mutual interest as well as providing useful common ground for academics to begin collaborative work and to engage one another directly, in a forum and atmosphere conducive to academic discussions.

The SMU Marketing Summer Camp is intended to be a forum for intensive and research-oriented discussions between distinguished foreign academics and SMU's marketing faculty. By facilitating such face-to-face interaction and discussions, the Summer Camp will provide a useful and conducive platform for meaningful collaborative research and the exchange of ideas of mutual interest and future study.
