Be a master of wealth management … enrol
in the MSc in Wealth Management
I am very honoured to be appointed as the founding academic
director of the MSc in Wealth Management Programme.
Wealth management is all about managing investment returns
and risk for well-endowed clients (both individual and institutions)
with investible funds.
Wealth management is both an art and science. It involves
understanding the client very well. It requires the wealth
manager to have both breadth and depth about the financial
markets, the instruments, the players as well as the environment.
Thus, a wealth manager has to possess the skills of a generalist
and a specialist to perform his or her role very well. Having
a group of peers to share with, and a curriculum facilitated
by senior industry experts and professors of finance add
up to a worthwhile personal investment with positive net
present value.
The curriculum has been designed collectively by a group
of academic professors and industry professionals – including
private bankers, asset managers, investment analysts, priority
bankers and investment consultants. The programme will seamlessly
weave in both theory and practice.
For the select group who will be participating in this comprehensive
programme, we promise an enriching experience. The array
of learning activities will include seminars, assignments,
projects, field trips, industry talks, Asian case studies
and interaction with industry professionals. A two-week stint
at the Swiss Finance Institute in Zurich will allow participants
to interact with counterparts from around the world. There
will be ample opportunities for exposure and immersion in
the real world of global investing.
The MSc in Wealth Management is the progressive way to stay
at the frontier of global investing.
Join us if you have the passion for a career in wealth management.
Yours truly,
Dr Francis Koh
