On behalf of Singapore Management University’s Center for Marketing Excellence, we would like to

extend you a very warm welcome to the inaugural conference, ”The Asian Brand Experience.” This

is an exciting era for both companies and consumers to be in Asia, as the focus of branding is

entering a new chapter—beyond the role of mere identifiers and toward creating unique customer

experiences.


The inaugural conference is an extraordinary opportunity for business managers and scholars to

share new knowledge, best practices, and future directions on key issues related to how foreign

brands need to be managed in Asia, and conversely, how Asian business can create truly global
