Introduction

As part of the Undergraduate Curriculum, the Lee Kong Chian School of Business, Singapore Management University (SMU) regularly organizes Business Study Missions (BSM) to Middle East countries in the Gulf Cooperation Council. We hope to provide students with a better understanding of the region and its tourism-related developments through direct in-situ exposure.

With Singapore’s on-going efforts to strengthen political and economic ties with countries in the Middle East, this program is a perfectly-timed opportunity for students to gain a better understanding of the political and socio-cultural background of the Middle East as well as increase their awareness of the different trade, collaboration and business opportunities that are present over there.
