The Story of Our Name
Our school, the Lee Kong Chian School of Business, carries the name of the famous philanthropist who believed firmly in the value of education. In 1958, Dr Lee established the Lee Foundation, a philanthropic institution, and made great contributions towards education.
Dr Lee Kong Chian's support for education still stands strong today. In 2004, the Lee Foundation presented our School of The Lee Foundation Landmark Gift of S$50 million. In appreciation of the Lee Foundation's generosity, we named our school, our school building and our scholars programme after the famous philanthropist. Make a Difference for Generations to come
