General Instructions For Completing Your Application

Please read the following instructions carefully before completing your application. Supplementary instructions are given in each section of the application form. Once you have completed the form, we suggest you keep a copy for your record. Please complete the application form accordingly and attach copies of the documents as instructed. Your application will only be processed when we have received all the documents and payment.

GMAT

GMAT is a compulsory requirement for admission to the MAF programme. If you have not taken the GMAT, please take it as soon as possible and submit your scores. You may first submit unofficial GMAT score while requesting Pearson Professional Centers to send the official score to the Graduate Programmes Office. Referee's Report

Two Referee's reports are required for admission to the MAF programme. Please print the forms (PDF format), complete and return to us. The forms are available in the online application, alternatively you may download here.

Of the two personal references, one should typically be from a current or previous employer, a colleague, or someone else who knows you well at work; the other referee could be someone who taught you at university or college, or another person who knows you in a professional capacity.

Submitting your application

Please arrange the photocopies of the documents in the following order:

Identity Card (For Singapore Citizen)
Identity Card or Passport and Latest Re-entry Permit (For Singapore Permanent Resident)
Working Permit / Dependant Pass (For Non-Singapore Citizen)
Official GMAT score report
Bachelor / Master's Certificate and Transcript (certified true copies)
A Level Certificate or equivalent / Diploma Certificate (certified true copies)
O Level Certificate or equivalent (certified true copies)
CFA / ACCA / Other Professional Certificate (if any) (certified true copies)
Current Resume
2 referee's reports
Any other supporting documents (certified true copies)

Copies of the documents together with the completed checklist, interview assessment report form and a passport size photo can be delivered to us either by hand or by mail to:

Please note that you will be given an application number once your online application is successfully submitted. Kindly take note of this application number for future enquiry and checking of application status.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview. Generally, the interview is conducted in March. However, we do conduct interviews before March based on case-by-case basis.

Application Fee

Applications received without the application fees will not be processed. Payment for the application fee can be made by cheque (to be in favour of Singapore Management University), or credit card (VISA or MasterCard).
