The Singapore Management University (SMU) is pleased to offer the full-time Master of Science (MSc) in Applied Finance Program by coursework to students from China . This program aims to raise the standard of practitioners' knowledge and skills in applied finance, an area of critical training identified by authorities as well as the finance sector in China and Singapore . The structure of this program is fundamentally the same as the existing part-time Applied Finance Program offered at SMU.

Besides covering critical components required to meet the high standards of an MSc degree in Applied Finance, the curriculum is also designed to meet the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) examination requirements for those pursuing their CFA designation.

THIS PROGRAMME IS IDEAL FOR

  • Finance (or related fields) practitioners who wish to pursue their Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation
  • Postgraduate students from China
  • Those who are currently working in the finance industry in China and wish to enhance their knowledge and skills in applied finance
  • Those who wish to attain the relevant qualification to get a good job in the financial industry

  • The program will be taught by highly qualified and experienced faculty and industry professionals;
  • Although the syllabi provide students with an international perspective of global financial markets and instruments, it is also customized to take account of the characteristics of the regional and Chinese environment.
