Cinemas and Theatres
There are more than 100 cinemas in Singapore showing English, Chinese, Malay, Indonesian, Tamil and Hindi movies. For ticket reservations, place your online bookings at the following cinema websites: Cathay Cineplex, Golden Village Multiplex, Eng Wah Cinema or Shaw Organisation.

For film buffs, there is the annual Singapore International Film Festival held in April every year. For plays, musicals, ballets and operas at concert halls and theatres, check out the website of Esplanade - Theatres on the Bay. Singapore Arts Festival is an annual Festival held in the month of May/June, a major arts event in Singapore. The festival showcases performances from both local and foreign arts groups.

Libraries
Singapore has a good network of public libraries comprising a national library, regional libraries, community libraries and community children's libraries. More information on library services, registration and operation hours is available at the National Library Board website.

Sports Facilities
Example of sports and facilities: tennis, squash and netball courts, sports halls, swimming complexes, fitness parks and golf courses. Pubs and Bars

Media Guide
Compiled by MICA's Media Relations Division, the Media Guide contains the addresses and contact numbers of accredited media personnel and organisations in Singapore.

Singapore Government Directory
Published twice a year by MICA, the Singapore Government Directory provides a listing of contact numbers of officials at ministries, government departments and statutory boards and outlines the portfolios of the respective agencies. It is available at leading bookshops.

Singapore Street Directory
This is a yearly publication that provides up-to-date route-finding information. It includes maps of landmarks, major buildings, places of interest, schools, government departments, etc. It also provides information on land transport schemes such as The Driver Improvement Points System (DIPS) and Road Pricing Scheme (RPS). It is available at leading bookstores.
