Officially incorporated on 12 January 2000, Singapore Management University (SMU) is Singapore's third university. Its educational and administrative practices are modeled after American institutions, in particular the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, which has played a central role in SMU's development.

About Lee Kong Chian School of Business

The Lee Kong Chian School of Business develops leaders and entrepreneurs who will participate in and drive the global marketplace of the future. A variety of educational programs for both undergraduate and graduate students as well as executives are offered in support of this aim, providing a superb and demanding curriculum in key business disciplines, including Management, Law, Operations, Communications, Finance and Marketing, with additional major offerings anticipated. Degree programs include the Bachelors of Business Management, the MSc in Applied Finance and the MSc in Wealth Management. Executive Education provides business managers and leaders with relevant knowledge and skills to address the complex challenges today's organisations face.

The Lee Kong Chian School of Business has an outstanding international faculty that has been handpicked to advance knowledge in teaching and research.
